Finally!!!!!

Finally she come from Shanghai to visit us!!!! eheheheheheh

Our friend Sil (Silvia) arrived on 15th December and we had a very nice weekend together.... we went to Kyoto, Kobe, Sannomiya and Motomachi... as you can see in the pictures:

Kyoto - Fushimi Inari Shrine is the most famous of several thousands of shrines dedicated to Inari across Japan. The Fushimi Inari Shrine is also famous for the countless tori gates, offerings by worshippers, that cover the hiking trails of Inarisan, the wooded mountain behind the shrine's main buildings. It takes about two hours to walk along the whole trail.

Sanjusangendo is popular name for Rengeo-in, a temple in eastern Kyoto which is famous for its 1001 statues of Kannon, the goddess of mercy. The 1001 statues of Kannon are really impressive, they stay side by side and are life-size.

Here is Gion, it is Kyoto's most famous geisha district!!!

Kiyomizudera ("Pure Water Temple") is one of the most celebrated temples of Japan. It was founded in 780 and remains associated with the Hosso sect, one of the oldest sects within Japanese Buddhism. Buda from the Kiyomizu Temple:

Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion)

Kyoto was really pleasent and also we had "luck" with the weather, it wasn't rainning, just a little bit cold, but it was great!

Saturday night we had a nice italian dinner in the Osteria Galdente, in Motomachi, and after dinner we went to Sannomiya to see the famous Christmas Luminarie - Masterpiece!!!

On Sunday, we went to Kobe, enjoyed the nice view, walked a little bit, had a coffe...

Sil, many thanks for comming and visit us, we had a lot of fun together and we hope to see you soon!!!
